Method and Apparatus using Variation of Terahertz Light Polarization to Rapidly Detect IntermolecularVibrations in Proteins

Description:

Provided here are terahertz- (THz-) based apparati for measuring internal dynamics of proteins.  Such dynamics (vibrations) contribute to structural and functional characteristics of proteins.  The apparati and methods disclosed enable identification of protein-correlated structural motions, which will assist investigators in determining the functional relevance of such motions.
